ICT Business Summits close in Manila and Kuala Lumpur with 68 MOUs

3Stripe ran the 2026 Korea-Philippines / Korea-Malaysia ICT Business Summit, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT with KAIT. Both legs are now complete, and the results are below.

Across both markets

• 68 MOUs signed
• 127 1:1 business meetings
• 63 local buyers and agencies attending
• 183 matching targets sourced beforehand
• 9 Korean companies, 2 government roundtables, 6 agency visits

Philippines, September 9-10

Five companies from the SW High Growth Club took part at Shangri-La The Fort Narra Hall, Manila. Of 95 slots allocated, 70 meetings went ahead and 46 MOUs were signed. Thirty-three local buyers attended, drawn from 106 targets sourced in advance.

The summit opened with a government roundtable attended by the Board of Investments (DTI-BOI), QBO Innovation Hub, Startup Village and LEAP Studio. The day before, the delegation visited MMDA Metrobase, the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) and PLDT InnoLab for agenda-led briefings.

Malaysia, September 16-17

Four companies from the SME Tech Market took part at the Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Of 79 slots allocated, 57 meetings went ahead and 22 MOUs were signed. Eighteen registered buyers and twelve invited agencies attended, drawn from 77 targets sourced in advance.

The VIP roundtable brought together MOSTI, MDEC, Cradle, PIKOM, the Fintech Association of Malaysia and AmBank, with the Korean Embassy and K-eco in attendance. Site visits covered Cybersecurity Malaysia, the My5G Portal Experience Centre and PIKOM.
